The Area

The house is located in Korcula (Croatia), between Prigradica and Vela Luka on a hillside of Mediterranean parkland and olive trees. The venue overlooks an almost private, beautiful crystal clear bay directly.

The bay has two other houses: one of which is uninhabited for years, the other is seldom visited by the owner. The latter is about 60 metres from the house, privacy and peace is guaranteed, nine out of ten times one cannot see a living soul around.

The beach gets sun from 9.00 to 18.00 in the summer. While snorkelling one can observe large schools of fish of 2-30 centimetres, 10-15 species. The marine fauna also involves shore crabs, hermit crabs, shrimps, different types of starfish and many more. The lucky holiday maker may also spot happy dolphins from the balconies. There are no harmful or venomous creatures. We swim barefoot, you see only a few sea urchins.

The House

The house consists of three apartments, two of which are for rent. We only rent them together as a whole.

The ground floor apartment is kept for storage. The whole house is for the guests, there is no permanent resident or stranger in the house.
Our caretaker, Hrovje lives in the vicinity.

The top floor (110 sqm) has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious combined living room, dining room and kitchen with a huge (25 sqm) terrace with a fascinating panorama. The bedrooms have 180×200 double beds.
The middle floor (110 sqm) has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining room combined with kitchen and also a 25 sqm terrace facing the very same direction as the top floor. Two bedrooms have 180×200 double beds, the third room has two 90×200 single beds.
The terraces overlook the bay and the sea, the Isle of Hvar with the mountains of the mainland in the background. The house can accommodate ten people comfortably. The hillside terraced garden has a true Mediterranean atmosphere with an original Croatian oven on one of the tiers that can cook all sorts of food. The house has a parking lot for four-five cars of SUV size. The tap water is urban quality and drinkable.
Electricity is provided by solar panels. It is a massive structure for the brand new and sizeable Samsung fridges, boilers, lighting, laptops, phone chargers, on a cloudy day yet, one may want to use the air conditioner and hair driers with caution.

The house is ideal for a group of friends and big families. The location is not particularly ideal for couples with toddlers and young children, however, kids over about eight years of age can easily find their way around and have no problem with the steps.
The house is not handicap accessible.

The house is a ten to fifteen-minute drive from the shops, restaurants and tourist sites. Apart from water sports, the area is ideal for jogging and bicycle riding (mountain bike).

From 2024 the house can be rented for EUR 550 per night for a minimum stay of 7 nights from 1 July to 31 August.

The bridge of Peljasac Peninsula is the best route, one can reach Orebic without a detour.
